MY HELP IS REQUIRED, [SPOODLES]

I have a few letters that I have to send this week, but this was important.

For the first time, I got a Nigerian e-mail scam. If you don't know what that is, it is a message claiming to come from a Nigerian government official that claims you have millions of dollars in inheritance coming to you. After a few e-mails between yourself and them, you are to give them all your banking info, whereafter they clear out your bank account. I've decided to play along and screw with them, and I'll be posting updates here as long as it goes on. Here is their first e-mail to me.

SUBJECT: YOUR HELP IS REQURIED, [SPOODLES]

Dear [SPOODLES],

All occupants of the vehicle unfortunately lost there lives.

Since then I have made several esquires to your embassy here to locate any of my clients extended relatives, this has also proved unsuccessful. After these several unsuccessful attempts, I decided to track his last name over the Internet, to locate any member of his family hence I contacted you. I have contacted you to assist in recovering the fund valued at US$10.5 million left behind by my client before it gets confiscated or declared unserviceable by the Diplomatic Security company
where this huge amount were deposited.

The said Diplomatic Security company has issued me a notice to providethe next of kin or have the account confiscated within the next twenty one official working days. Since I have been unsuccessful in locating the relatives for over 2 years now, I seek the consent to present you as the next of kin to the deceased since you have the same last receipt of your positive response, we shall then discuss the sharing ratio and modalities for transfer.

I have all necessary information and legal documents needed to back you up for claim. All Irequire from you is your honest cooperation to enable us see this transaction through guarantee that this will be executed under legitimate arrangement that will protect you from any breach of the law.

Please get in touch with me
Best regard,
Barrister Bello Sule

And here is my first reply.

Dear Barrister Bello Sule:
Thank you for getting in contact with me. It is of a great relief to my family that you found information related to the disappearance of my Uncle Michael, Aunt Margaret, and cousin Jennifer. Can you give me any more information regarding their accident, their deaths, or their burial site? We have been worried sick for the last three and a half years searching for any news. Perhaps a newspaper clipping?
While I, much like the rest of my family, am filled with grief, I am very interested in receiving my inheritance before the greedy Diplomatic Security Company gets their grubby little paws on it. Please, get in touch with me. My family could really use the ten and a half million dollars to put in the bank with the rest of our riches.
Once again, thank you so much for your help.
Sincerely,
[SPOODLES]
